The easiest and fastest way to reach Ponterosso Guesthouse is by taking the Mantova Nord exit on the A22 Brennero–Modena motorway. The property is located only 7 km (4.3 miles) from the motorway exit and can be reached in approximately 10 minutes.

From Mantova Nord (recommended route):

• Exit the A22 motorway at Mantova Nord.
• Follow the signs for Mantova / Sant'Antonio / Colle Aperto.
• Continue along the Tangenziale Nord (Northern Ring Road).
• Take the exit for Sant'Antonio / Ponte Rosso.
• Follow the signs to Strada Gambarara.
• Ponterosso Guesthouse is located at No. 4.

If You Arrive from Mantova Sud

You can also reach the property via the Mantova Sud motorway exit. However, this route is longer and takes approximately 25 minutes. For this reason, we recommend using the Mantova Nord exit whenever possible, as it offers the quickest and most convenient access to the guesthouse.

By Public Transport

Ponterosso Guesthouse is easy to reach by public transport from Mantua city centre.

From Piazza Cavallotti / Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, take APAM bus line 8 towards Bancole and get off at the stop closest to Strada Gambarara. From there, the guesthouse is only a 5-minute walk.

The total journey takes approximately 15 minutes, making it a convenient option for guests arriving by train or visiting Mantua's historic centre without a car. Public transport runs regularly throughout the day.

Verona Valerio Catullo Airport (VRN) is the closest airport to Ponterosso Guesthouse, located approximately 31 km (19 miles) away. The journey by car takes around 35–40 minutes.

By Car

From Verona Airport, follow the signs to the A4 motorway, then join the A22 Brennero–Modena motorway towards Modena. Exit at Mantova Nord, then follow the signs for Sant'Antonio / Colle Aperto and continue to Strada Gambarara.

You can also reach Mantua by taking the Verona Airlink shuttle bus from the airport to Verona Porta Nuova Railway Station. From there, frequent trains connect Verona to Mantua in approximately 45 minutes.

Once in Mantua, you can reach Ponterosso Guesthouse by taxi or by APAM bus line 8, with a total journey from the railway station of approximately 15 minutes.
